Sling Tomb sends a cartoon animal climbing out of a stone tomb by launching from peg to peg. Water rises below you while saws, arrows and other traps interrupt the route upward, so hanging safely from a peg is only a temporary rest.

How to play Sling Tomb

  • While attached to a peg, hold the mouse button or touch the screen and pull back from the peg. Release to launch in the opposite direction. A longer pull gives more force, up to a limit. Touching another peg lets the character hang there for the next shot.
  • The water starts rising after your first launch and gradually speeds up. Reaching the water ends the attempt. Without protection, saws, arrows, flames, explosive crates and being crushed between the moving pillars also end it.
  • Some pegs move. Red pegs disappear two seconds after contact, so they cannot hold you for long.
  • You gain one point every tenth of a second while flying upward. Hanging still and falling do not add points. Coins and diamonds are separate from this score; your best score and collected currency are saved.
  • A lightning-bolt pickup boosts you upward for two seconds. A magnet attracts nearby coins for ten seconds. A shield blocks trap damage for ten seconds, but does not protect you from water. The blue gem inside a bubble releases a burst of coins; it is different from the green diamonds you collect.
  • The shop has seven extra character skins. Two cost 200 coins each, three cost 500 coins each and two cost 100 diamonds each. They change your appearance, not your launch strength or protection.
  • Your first attempt uses one starting layout; retries draw from seven tower layouts. These are alternative routes, not seven levels you must finish in order.

Tips

  • Keep your mouse button released, or lift your finger off the screen, until you catch the next peg. Holding the button or keeping a finger down prevents the automatic grab.
  • Choose your following target before landing on a red peg. That gives you its two-second window to aim and release instead of spending it looking for the next stop.
