Scary Run sends a boy running through a rocky alien landscape full of zombies. Jumping clears enemies on the ground, but flying crows can meet you in the air, and buried skeletons spring up along the route.

How to play Scary Run

  • The boy runs automatically. Press the up arrow to jump and press it again in the air for a second jump. Clicking or tapping the play area also jumps, but does not give you that second jump.
  • Hitting a zombie, rock or crow normally ends the run. A skeleton ambush instead takes ten coins and starts a temporary sprint. During that sprint, hitting the other hazards costs five coins rather than ending the run. Your coin count cannot fall below zero.
  • Your final score combines running points, distance and 100 points for every coin you keep. Running points increase while you are on the ground and not sprinting; distance continues to count during jumps.
  • Ground hazards appear more often at distance 200, then again at 600. There is no finish line, and a new best score is saved when the run ends.

Tips

  • Stay on the ground when the route is clear instead of jumping continuously. You keep earning running points and remain low enough to collect the rows of coins.
  • Jump over a skeleton's mound rather than using its sprint as protection. Losing ten collected coins removes 1,000 points from your final score.
