Block Puzzle Blast
Block Puzzle Blast is a wood-block puzzle in the 1010 style. Three shapes wait in a tray, you drag them onto a square grid, and a full row or column clears. Nothing falls on its own and nothing is timed in the standard mode, so the only thing that ends a game is running out of room for the next shape.
How to play Block Puzzle Blast
- Drag a shape from the tray onto the grid. Shapes keep a fixed orientation, so there is no rotating one to make it fit.
- Fill an entire row or column and it clears, freeing the space and adding points. Clearing several lines with one shape pays a combo bonus.
- You hold three shapes at a time. Place all three and three new ones arrive.
- The game ends the moment none of your shapes will fit anywhere on the board.
- Five modes change the board and the rules: Classic on an 8x8 grid, Advanced with tougher blocks, Blast with timed bombs, Timer with a 120-second countdown, and Challenge on a larger 10x10 grid.
Tips
- Look at all three shapes before you place the first one. The big awkward piece needs room that the two small ones will quietly take away.
- Empty space is the thing you are actually managing. A tidy board with gaps outlasts a packed board with a better score, because the game ends on the first shape that will not fit.
- Line several rows up to go together instead of clearing them one at a time. The same shape pays more when it takes two lines at once.
- In Blast mode a placed block can turn into a bomb that counts down each turn. Clear it before it reaches zero or the game ends there.
- In Timer mode every clear adds seconds back, so staying alive means keeping the clears coming rather than placing neatly.
