Animals Crush

Animals Crush is a line-drawing match game played with giraffes, frogs, parrots and friends. Rounds run 30 seconds, and the only way to get any of that time back is to draw longer chains, so the game is less about clearing fast and more about spotting the long link before you start dragging.

How to play Animals Crush

• Click or touch an animal and drag across its matching neighbours, then let go to clear the line. Three is the minimum for it to count.
• A chain of five adds bonus seconds back to the clock. A chain of eight or more adds a good deal more time and points at once.
• A short match of three or four still scores, but it resets your combo, and the combo is what multiplies everything after it.
• The board refills from the top the moment you clear, so there is always another chain forming.

Tips

• Look before you drag. The difference between a four and a five is the difference between spending time and buying it back.
• Chain them back to back to keep the multiplier alive, because a single short match drops it again.
