Master Checkers
Master Checkers is the classic board game of checkers, also known as draughts, on a wooden 8x8 board. You can sit down against the computer, which has easy, medium and hard settings, or play against a friend on the same screen.
How to play Master Checkers
- Tap one of your discs, then tap a dark square diagonally ahead to move it.
- Jump over a touching enemy disc to capture it, and keep jumping if another capture lines up.
- Reach the far row to crown a disc into a king, which can move both forward and back.
- Win by capturing all of your opponent's discs, or by leaving them with no move to make.

Tips
- Hold your back row together early to stop the computer from slipping through and crowning a king.
- Trade pieces when you are ahead, since fewer discs on the board makes your lead count for more.
- Build a king as soon as you can, because its two-way movement controls far more of the board.
Line up your jumps and take the whole board.
