My First Words
My First Words teaches English names with cartoon pictures of animals, food and everyday things, then asks you to find them among other pictures. Later rounds ask you to recognise more words. There is no countdown, but a wrong choice ends your run.
How to play My First Words
- Watch the examples first. Each picture appears with its written and spoken name for three seconds.
- When the question appears, tap or click the matching picture among the twelve choices. You do not need to type the word.
- A correct answer turns green and adds either 50 or 100 points, chosen at random. Answer every question in the round to advance.
- Rounds 1 to 3 ask for two words. Round 4 adds a third, then another word is added every three rounds until the set reaches twelve. Pictures are drawn from a pool of 50.
- After a mistake, the game highlights the correct picture. Reset Game returns you to round 1 with no points; progress is not saved between visits.
Tips
- Look at the whole vehicle before choosing: the plane and helicopter are separate pictures in this set, as are the train and bus.
- Take time over an unfamiliar word instead of chasing a faster answer. Speed does not decide whether you receive 50 or 100 points.
