Math Game for Kids is a maths practice game for young children, built as 40 short lessons across four menu pages: adding, subtracting, finding a missing number, then comparing two numbers. Each lesson puts a problem on a blackboard out in a sunny meadow, with a row of footballs on the grass below it.

How to play Math Game for Kids

  • Nothing is locked, so tap whichever lesson you fancy.
  • Each one puts a single question on the board, such as 2 + 3 = ? or 8 + ? = 14, with three number tiles beside it. Drag a tile onto the question mark to answer.
  • The last ten lessons swap the number tiles for a less-than or greater-than sign.
  • Drop the wrong tile and it vanishes, leaving fewer choices, so you cannot get stuck.
  • There is no timer and no score, so you can stay on a question as long as you like. Every tenth lesson ends with a prize.

Tips

  • Count the footballs out loud first, then look for that number among the tiles.
  • On the missing number lessons, count up from the first number instead of working backwards.
  • For the comparing lessons, the sign always opens its wide end toward the bigger number.
