Tank Defender
Tank Defender puts a cartoon tank under an air raid, with enemy aircraft dropping bombs across the ground. You split your attention between shooting overhead and driving out to collect supplies before your ammunition or time runs short.
How to play Tank Defender
- Move with A and D or the Left and Right Arrow keys. Aim with the mouse and click to fire. On mobile, use the arrow buttons to drive and tap the play area to aim and shoot.
- Auto Shooting starts switched off. Turn it on for continuous fire, or leave it off to fire once per click or tap.
- You start with three lives, 500 rockets, and three minutes. A bomb hitting your tank or reaching the ground costs a life. Losing all lives or running out of time ends the game.
- Shoot falling bombs for 10 points each. Enemy aircraft are worth 10 to 70 points, depending on the type.
- Drive into crates dropped by the supply helicopter to collect them. A rocket crate adds 500 rockets, a stopwatch adds time, a tank icon adds one life, and a plain wooden crate adds 100 points.
- The two-cartridge crate gives you a double barrel, which uses two rockets per shot. A direct bomb hit on the tank removes it. The blue-ring crate gives you a shield that blocks nearby bombs, then fades after being hit.
Tips
- Clear the lowest bombs before chasing aircraft or driving for supplies. They threaten your lives even away from the tank, while landed crates stay there for you to collect later.
- Switch Auto Shooting off when the sky is clear. It uses five rockets per second with one barrel and ten with two, so leaving it on wastes the supplies you collect.
