Ranger vs Zombies
Ranger vs Zombies mixes automatic running with a shotgun and a jetpack in a town overrun by zombies. Ground enemies block the street while flying monsters drop bombs, so staying on the rooftops does not keep you out of danger.
How to play Ranger vs Zombies
- Press W or the up arrow to jump, or tap the jetpack button. Press again in the air for a second jump after leaving the street. Landing on a roof disables that extra jump until you touch the street again.
- Press Space or tap the gun button for each shot. You can shoot while airborne. You start with 200 rounds, and an ammunition crate adds 100.
- Tap or click the three spell buttons to cast ice, fire or lightning. Ice damages enemies that cross its patch, fireballs fall across the screen, and lightning strikes a spot ahead of you. Each spell has its own 20-second recharge.
- You have three lives. An enemy touching the ranger directly costs one life. Bomb explosions also cost one life unless you are shielded. A heart restores one life, up to three. Shield crates temporarily block bomb damage. If an enemy touches the shield, the enemy is destroyed and the shield disappears.
- Defeating enemies earns points. Coins add 10 each, and a gold crate adds 500. Coins are score pickups, not money for upgrades.
- The run ends when your lives run out. The timer measures how long you last, with no deadline, and your best score is saved.

Tips
- Jump to a flying enemy's height before firing. The shotgun shoots straight ahead, so shots from the street can pass underneath it.
- Save lightning for enemies approaching its strike position. It hits ahead of the ranger, not every enemy on the screen, so it can miss one already beside you.
- When ammunition is low, save fire or lightning for the larger ground zombies. These enemies take more shotgun hits, but either spell can destroy them on contact.
