Touch Ball is a reflex game played against a one-second clock. A small mirror ball turns up somewhere on a rainbow-lit stage and wobbles there while the second runs out, and the whole game is finding it in time.

How to play Touch Ball

  • Click or tap the ball within one second of it appearing. That second is the same for the first ball and the fiftieth, because the game never speeds up.
  • A hit pays 100 points plus up to 100 more for the time you had left, so an instant tap is worth 200 and a tap on the deadline is worth about 100.
  • The ball turns green once hit. Leave it alone: another appears a second later, and extra taps on a green ball add nothing.
  • Miss one deadline and the round is over. Starting again begins from zero.

Tips

  • Do not leave the pointer where the last ball was. Each new one is placed at a fresh random position, so it is as likely to appear in a corner as anywhere near the last one.
  • Tap the moment your eye finds it instead of settling the pointer first. The time bonus falls steadily across the second, so half a second of hesitation costs you fifty points.
