Traffic

Traffic follows a pedestrian back to his car through a series of roads and railway crossings. You stay on a fixed path, so getting through depends on choosing gaps rather than steering around vehicles.

How to play Traffic

  • Press Up to take one step forward or Down to step back. On a touchscreen, tap the matching arrow button. Holding a key does not keep you walking, and another step cannot begin until the current one finishes.
  • Reach your car 100 steps ahead to finish. The score tracks your progress: moving forward adds one, while stepping back subtracts one.
  • A collision with a car or train ends the attempt. Select Restart to return to the beginning.
  • There is no time limit. The timer records how long the attempt has lasted.

Tip

Watch the approaching traffic before taking a step. Each step takes roughly two-thirds of a second and cannot be cancelled halfway, so judge whether the gap will stay open until the step finishes.
