Pool 8 Ball lets you clear a table against a timer or share it with a second player. Pocketing the white ball is a foul, so extra force can cost more than a missed shot.

How to play Pool 8 Ball

  • Hold the mouse button or press a finger on the game. Move toward the direction you want to shoot and use the guide line to check the aim.
  • Watch the power meter while holding and release at the strength you want. Wait for the cue to return before your next shot.
  • In Player vs Timer, pocket the fourteen other balls before the black 8 ball, within 30 minutes. Pocketing the 8 early ends the game.
  • Each numbered ball is worth 100 points in solo play. Completing the table adds a time bonus and can set a new saved best score.
  • Player vs Player uses one shared device. Player 1 pockets solids 1 to 7.
  • Player 2 pockets stripes 9 to 15. There is no computer-controlled opponent.
  • Pocketing your own balls can keep your turn, while a shot that scores none passes play.
  • Pocketing the white ball adds a foul. In two-player mode, pocketing an opponent's ball also counts against you. Three fouls end the game.
  • The two-player mode has a fault in this version: pocketing the 8 ball ends the game as a foul even after your group is cleared. Choose Player vs Timer if you want a table you can finish normally.

Tips

  • If the power has already climbed past what you need, keep holding and release as it falls. You can reduce the shot's strength without giving up the aim you have lined up.

Clear the solo table and see how much time you can leave.
