Merge Number Woody is a number-merging puzzle played with wooden blocks. You need to keep doubling values while new rows crowd the board and joined two-block pieces become harder to fit. There is no timer.
How to play Merge Number Woody
- Drag a block onto an equal block. The pair becomes the next value, so 2 and 2 make 4, 4 and 4 make 8, and the sequence keeps doubling.
- Joined blocks move together, so both halves need somewhere to go.
- Merges score 5 points per step in the sequence: making 4 pays 5, making 8 pays 10, and larger blocks pay more.
- Move without merging and the stack rises before a fresh bottom row appears. A merge avoids that row unless no matching numbers remain afterward.
- Make 1,048,576 to win. If a block occupies the top row when the stack needs to rise, the run ends. An active run and your best score are saved.
Tips
- Before merging two 4s, check whether another 8 will remain on the board. That leaves a possible follow-up merge and keeps the board from ending up with all different values.
- When one half of a joined piece has a match, check where the other half would land before dragging. A match for one block is not enough if its partner cannot move there.
